James Vincent McMorrow wanted to devise a campaign that would simultaneously celebrate his favourite record shops and announce the release of his ‘We Move’ album. Using Landmrk, he and his team managed to do this, enabling fans to stream the record a week before release in select stores around the world -- putting them in prime position to pre-order in the process…

Results

The ‘We Move’ campaign enabled the artist to offer a new experience to his fans in a very direct way while underlining his wider love of music and the culture that surrounds it. Along with this element of giving something back, the initiative hit its numbers goals in terms of fans heading to the target stores for an early listen, the album hit the top of the charts in McMorrow's native Ireland and the project was included in Music Ally's 40 Best Marketing Campaigns of 2016.
